New Students: Your Guide to a Smooth Start!

Congratulations on your acceptance to exciting St. John's University.  We look forward to seeing you on campus this September but, first, you’ve got a few forms to complete!

First Things First
Before enrolling, all freshmen must submit their final and official high school transcripts which include date of graduation. All transfers with fewer than 60 credits must also submit their final and official high school transcripts which include date of graduation. Transfer students must also provide their final, official college transcript(s). Please submit your final, official high school transcript by July 15.  If you enrolled in college, AP or IB courses, be sure to have your final college transcript and AP or IB score reports sent as soon as possible.

Before enrolling this fall, all transfer students must submit final and official transcripts from all colleges attended.  All transcripts and score reports should be sent to:

Admission Processing Service Center
St. John’s University
PO Box 413
Randolph, MA 02368-9822.

To print final transcript request forms, download a copy of our New Student Guide to Enrollment.

Medical Forms
All incoming students must submit immunization and meningitis forms.  These forms can be found in our New Student Guide to Enrollment.

Housing
Planning to live in university housing?  If you’ve already submitted your enrollment and housing deposit, please download our New Student Guide to Campus Living. Then, follow the directions below to complete the Housing Application through our secure website. Freshman must also complete the Roommate Questionnaire.

Completing the Housing Application and Roommate Questionnaire online:

  1. To login to the St. John's University UIS (or St. John's Central), click here.
  2. Enter your User ID and PIN on the bottom, left side of the page. Your USER ID is your St. Johns student ID Number which appears on the top corner of your admit letter- the number begins with an X. Your PIN NUMBER- if you are logging on for the first time- is your birthday in numbers (for example, 020386 for February 3, 1986).
  3. Click on “STUDENT AND FINANCIAL AID”, then “ADMISSIONS”, then on “HOUSING APPLICATION.”

Please be aware that your housing registration is not complete until you submit both the registration and roommate questionnaire.

If you have any questions or do not have access to the web and require a paper application/questionnaire please contact the Office of Residence Life at (718) 990-2417

After completing the housing application, freshmen will be directed to our housing questionnaire.  Transfer students do not need to complete the housing questionnaire.

New Student Orientation
